I got a new keyboard. Alternatively, novelty is my thing.
Title. I got a Logitech POP Keys keyboard (in purple, obviously) as a replacement for my 7-year-old Ducky One TKL. Why did I go for it? It's purple, it's wireless, and... me likey shiny new thing. Seriously. I am always drawn to new shiny thing. Could be autism. Could be ADHD. I have both so they probably ganged up on me as they tend to do. One side effect of being neurospicy is that once I find a new thing I think I love, I kinda hyperfixate on it. That only lasts a few days, maybe 2 weeks. Then it's back to looking for that next high. It's a toxic spiral but I am hopelessly trapped in it, though sometimes it ends up being an amazing thing. My first major hyperfixation was tech, for instance. We had a speech assignment in the 6th grade, and I did mine on how to build a PC. I went waaaaaaaay over the allotted 5 minutes; the teacher cut me off at 10. Sorry, Ms. Hudson. Blame the ADHD.
