Fuck Eve Online

 Few games are as complex as Eve Online. Everything in this game can be built and them destroyed all the same. With over 400 skills that affect everything from planetary mining to combat, it's easy to get lost in numbers and optimization. Thus this game's unofficial nickname: Spreadsheet Simulator. My problem doesn't lie with this, though it IS kinda problematic. No, my problem lies with the community and its general toxicity. 

Since my last post, I ended up starting my own corp, Otherside Collective, and putting myself in the Minmatar Militia, which I only did because I had a friend that wanted to try faction warfare. I will admit, I got a little trigger-happy and shot another member of the militia. They rightfully put me on blast in the militia chat but even after I admitted I was wrong and apologized... they started digging into my bio, my corp bio, everything they could find. And then... they tried pushing me out of the militia for being trans.

 You know what? You win. I quit Eve. Fuck this game and everything it stands for.
